ROS AGRО PLC (LSE: AGRO) has announced the completion of harvesting campaign of early grains
22.09.17On September 20 the Company has completed the harvesting of early grains in Belgorod, Tambov, Kursk, Orel regions and Primorsky Krai. Area of the land cultivated with early grains has augmented by 16.9 ths ha, an 8.3% increase from 2016. With yields per ha increase by 0.7 ths (+18.9%) gross yield has surged by 39.8% and totaled to more than 1 million tonnes.
Area of the land cultivated with wheat has augmented by 37.3 ths ha, a 34% increase from 2016. Land under the barley has been reduced by 21.8% in accordance with Company’s strategy. Meanwhile, yields of all early grains have risen by 8-21%.
