ROS AGRO PLC (LSE: AGRO) announces the end of 2019 sowing campaign
04.07.19On July, 1 Rusagro completed sowing season in all regions, including Primorsky Krai. In 2019 area of cultivated land gained 28 ths ha (+5%) and reached 586 ths ha. The growth is attributed to the purchase of the rights to rent 46 ths ha in the Saratov Region from Solnechnye Producty, which was partially compensated by exclusion of inefficient lands. For Rusagro’s crop structure in 2018-2019 refer to Table 1.
Area planted with grains and sugar beet remained at the level similar to the previous year and reached 253 and 88 ths ha respectively.
