Rusagro Group of Companies (ROS AGRO PLC, LSE: AGRO) has announced about the first delivery of animals to the Tambov pig breeding complex
10.10.11During the week of 10 October 2011 the Company received 1300 heads of animals from Dan bred the Dutch genetic company. The animals ageare ranged from14 to18 weeks. Currently all the animals are in good condition and located on sites.
At present Rusagro is continuing to construct the pig breeding complexin Tambov region with the capacity of 115 thousand tons per year. It is planned to reach the design capacity in the Tambov complex by 2014. The total pork production by the Company in 2014 will exceed 200 thousand tons.
