ROS AGRO PLC (LSE: AGRO) has announced the decision about starting a greenhouse project.
28.03.16The Board of Directors has concluded to start design on a greenhouse project.
The project involves the construction of the modern greenhouse complexes in Tambov region on about 100 hectares for year-round production of vegetables (cucumbers and tomatoes), lettuce and herbs with a powerful system of assimilation lighting plants throughout the area.
The main emphasis will be placed on the use of latest technologies in the plant growing field of the protected ground with the high degree of automation of production processes and trade logistics.
Growing plants are planned to use for production state of art technology with drip irrigation. The management of such important parameters of the microclimate inside greenhouses, such as temperature, humidity, ventilation, saturation, carbon dioxide and so on will be fully automated.
