Rusagro Group of Companies (ROS AGRO PLC, LSE: AGRO) has announced the launch of first pig farm of Tambov Bacon
25.05.12On 23 May 2012 in the presence of O. Betin, the governor of Tambov region, the launch took place. There are more than 21 thousand hogs at the complex now and more than 250 people are working there.
The construction of Tambov Bacon is going within the earlier planed budget and schedule and the full completion of the project is expected by the end of this year.
The Company plans to build a slaughterhouse with the capacity of to 1.5 million heads per year.The Companywill receive more than 350 millionrubles from a budget and is considering the construction of additional pigfarms, which will increase the planned capacity of Tambov Bacon.
