ROS AGRО PLC (LSE: AGRO) has announced the launch of development of Far East meat and agricultural project
01.09.14The Company has signed agreement to purchase more than 20 thousand hectares in Mikhailovsky district in the Primorsky Krai.
The meat project will include pig-breeding facilities with the capacity of 50 thousand tons of meat in slaughter weight, the slaughterhouse and the fodder plant.
The agricultural project will imply production of corn and soy for the meat project.
In addition, the Company has received the minority stake in Ussurijsk soy plant with the option to increase it to the control stake
